We identify the skin condition
We scientifically verify that the skin condition is linked to an imbalance in the gut microbiota. We only develop dermobiotics where there is a solid foundation for action.
We isolate strains
We select probiotic strains from different genera and species with demonstrated activity. Not all bacteria are equal: we look for those with the exact profile for each skin condition.
We compare in vitro
We test candidate strains in the laboratory, measuring their effect on the inflammatory markers specific to each condition. Only those that demonstrate a real and differential effect move forward.
Pilot study
We test the best strain combinations in people, comparing different probiotic blends to identify which produces the most significant clinical improvement.
Patent
The winning blend is patented. Each strain is registered with a unique code that guarantees its traceability.
Clinical Study
We validate efficacy with a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial. The results are published in scientific journals. Because saying it works is not enough: it has to be proven.

Galenicum Derma is a division of the Galenicum Health pharmaceutical group, a Spanish laboratory headquartered in Barcelona, founded in 2003.
